Some of you have probably read the Parent Map article on Empathy from last month. And if you did, you know all about the Seeds of Empathy/Roots of Empathy programs that have started as a pilot program in 10 Seattle Public Schools. Still, it’s not every day you read an audition notice like this:

BABIES: Boys and Girls, 3-6 MONTHS only.NO OLDER! Only hazel, , greenish hazel or green eyed babies. NO BROWN as we need to see the iris of their eyes for a close-up. We can see any ethnicity as long as the eyes are hazel, greenish hazel or green.
