Bellevue Botanical Gardens’ Garden d’Lights

Door 6 | December 6th | The Bellevue Botanical Gardens offers up their yearly Garden d’Lights, with plants and animals created out of standard outdoor Christmas lights.  From 5:00-9:30pm every evening, the garden comes to life.  Folks looking to avoid the crowds do best to come early in its run and to make sure to take the time on a weekday — the garden is very popular.  Don’t forget to look for Willie the Slug (I kid you not).  He’s hides in a new spot in the garden every year.

Free parking can be found at the Wilburton Hill Park, just East of the gardens.   Otherwise, expect to pay a $5.00 preferred parking fee for parking at the gardens.  The event is by donation, not admission fee, but please give what you can to keep this tradition going.  [photo courtesy of the Bellvue Botanical Gardens]
