Door 12 | December 12th |   It’s the downtown Seattle holiday tradition that takes over Westlake Square:  that’s right, the holiday carousel.  For the past 19 years, the carousel has found a home for the holidays in front Westlake.  And it’s great to see so many children all dressed up to see Santa enjoying a spin on the horses.

A suggested donation of  $2.00/person gets you a ride  on the steed or  seat of your choice,  with proceeds benefiting  Northwest Center.  Take a moment to step away from the holiday bustle and ride; just think, you could have a yearly photo tradition that doesn’t involve your child screaming.

And while the carousel horses might seem a bit to refined for such antics, Moon learned what to say on a horse from her Texan Great-Aunt.  Ye-haw it is.

  1. We have been on the ca-oo-sel approximately 854 billion times since it opened.

    I am now bankrupt.

  2. Well, at least you know your money went to a good cause. 😉
