Learning Math through Play.

wildaboutmath.com, the self-described, “Fun Math Blog” has a post on the card game “Eleusis”, which sounds promising. The game is a “inductive” game, where players learn the rules by playing the game and using their logic skills to figure out how to play.

We can’t get Moon to agree to play by the rules of Candyland at the moment, but for those with children older than three, you might get some mileage out of this.

  1. What a delightful blog! Yes, everything “is”math. There are learning experiences to share with our children everywhere we go. Thank you for that reminder.
