The “Still Face Experiment”

Go here to watch an interesting two minute clip from Zero to Three, where we see a one year old react to being suddenly ignored by her mother, and what that is telling researchers about how infants get and keep the attention of their caregivers (hat tip to Paul Nyhan’s Birth to Thrive blog for the link).

  1. I would love to have the clip of the Still Face experiment as I am an administrator and trainer for a Native American program here in Scottsdale. I really think this clip is powerful and may help me in improving the quality of life for our children who attend the 0-5 center as well as parents. How can I obtain a copy?
    Thanks,
    Cherylo
