About the Hausfrau

The Instant Hausfrau lives in the Puget Sound area with The Husband and Moon*, her four-year-old daughter. She hopes to help other new parents in the Seattle, WA area connect to resources and opportunities available to them, and share her experiences as a parent. She likes coffee, chocolate, long walks on the beach, and talking about herself in the third-person. She is now expecting twin boys, and trying hard to convince Moon that the “Mommy Lying on the Couch Game” is a great one to play.

Need to contact the Hausfrau? Send email to instant.hausfrau[at]gmail[dot]com.

* because The Husband has now found this blog, and fears being mistaken for a hippy, please to be noting that Moon is a psuedonym.

  1. Hi! I’m a publicist based in Portland, working with various artists and kids’ events in Portland and Seattle, and around the country. Captain Bogg & Salty are clients of mine, as is the Portland Pirate Festival and Baby Loves Disco.

I’d like to send you information about upcoming events and concerts and CD/DVD releases. What’s the best way to do that?

  2. Beth,
